'Feels Good': Andre Russell 'Excited' As IPL 2025 Resumes With RCB Vs KKR In Bengaluru

RCB Vs KKR: The start to the RCB Vs KKR, IPL 2025 Match 58 has been delayed due to rain at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, as both teams are alive in the race for playoffs.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, KKR's Andre Russell is excited with the resumption of IPL 2025, as the richest franchise league in cricket returns after a period of 10 days.

The Caribbean stated the importance of winning every game from now on, as his side's playoff hopes hang by a thread, after suffering a shocking defeat to CSK in Kolkata earlier this month.

"Yeah, it is a very good feeling to be part of this amazing tournament. We are here, and excited to play some games."

"(On the break) It does break our momentum, but we are professionals and we are used to traveling to different parts of the world and playing the next day. Mentally, I know how to switch on and switch off. It helps me as an individual to take a little break. The moment I came to practice, I start hitting and the body is up and running. I think it has a lot to do with the mind, I have a strong mindset, I and ready to roll again."

"(On coming in IPL year after year and delivering) I think it is easy when you have the mindset. Sometimes, you are coming off two losses and we know, we are made for this. You always have to think about the next game. The qualification can even take the games to 15 or 17, all the players are up for the challenge. We are switched on with the practice. I have been getting opportunities to bat up the order. Once I bat earlier, I know batters are there to come in behind me, I can be dangerous."

"What happened last week, broke the momentum a bit but yesterday in practice, I hit the ball very well. I hit two out of the ground. So, I am back."

"(On conditions) I have been following up with the weather, chances are we might have some rain around. We are prepared to play in every situation. Wet outfield, we definitely need these two points, even if there is an ocean out there, all of us have to take the park and have to come up with a win."
