Bhopal's Makhanlal Chaturvedi University Extends Application Deadlines; Check News Dates, Course Here

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal’s Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU) has extended the last date for admission applications for the academic session 2025-26. 

Interested students can now apply for various courses through the MP Online portal until June 16, 2025.

Applicants of CUET-PG can also apply 

The university has also announced that students who appeared for the CUET-PG (Common University Entrance Test - Post Graduate) are eligible to apply for postgraduate courses at MCU. This is a big relief for those who missed the earlier application window.

In line with the New Education Policy (NEP 2020), MCU is launching a one-year postgraduate course for students who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree. This is a step toward effective implementation of NEP in India.

Makhanlal Chaturvedi University offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in media and communication through various departments, such as – Electronic Media, New Media Technology, Journalism, Communication Research, Mass Communication, Media Management, Cinema Studies, Indian Languages, Library Science, Computer Applications, Advertising and Public Relations etc.
