94.5% pass rate for Kaithal, 92.28% for Karnal district
The Board of School Education, Bhiwani, declared the Class X examination results on Saturday, bringing cheer to students, teachers and parents across the state.
Students of Karnal and Kaithal districts recorded impressive performances, with Kaithal slightly ahead in terms of pass percentage.
Kaithal achieved a 94.50 per cent pass rate, while Karnal followed closely with 92.28 per cent.
In Karnal, 14,007 students appeared for the examination, and 12,926 successfully cleared it.
In Kaithal, 13,307 students wrote the exams, out of which 12,575 cleared them.
Both districts made a mark with their academic excellence at the state level.
Yogesh, a student of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Senior Secondary School, Matour village, in Kaithal secured the second position state-wide, scoring 496 marks.
From Karnal, Jeena Chauhan from Anand Public School, Nigdhu, secured the third rank, scoring 495 out of 500 marks.
Many schools organised celebrations, and sweets were distributed among students and teachers to mark the results.
