VIDEO: Truck Overturns On Pune-Solapur Highway, Onions Spill Across Road, Causing Major Traffic Jam
Due to a burst tire, a truck traveling from Sambhaji Nagar to Solapur overturned at around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday near the old Puna Naka area. The accident caused bags of onions to spill across the road, leading to a traffic jam in the area.
Traffic police and local authorities responded promptly to clear the obstruction and manage the flow of vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. However, it led to huge traffic snarls on the road.
Efforts were ongoing to remove the truck and restore normal traffic movement and the road and traffic was cleared later.
