PM Modi To Chair NITI Aayog Meet With CMs On May 24, Focus On Viksit Bharat 2047 Roadmap

A major development in national governance has emerged with the announcement of the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, scheduled for May 24 in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the meeting, which marks his first joint interaction with Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors after Operation Sindoor. The key agenda is to deliberate on the Viksit Bharat 2047 roadmap, focusing on fast-tracking development in underperforming districts and reviewing progress on joint Centre-State schemes. The meeting holds significance as the Centre seeks active state participation in achieving long-term national development goals. Following this, on May 25, the Prime Minister will hold a separate session exclusively with Chief Ministers and Deputy CMs of NDA-ruled states. The two-day engagement underscores the Centre's renewed push for coordinated federal development strategies, especially after recent national security developments. Key discussions will also include inputs from states on policy reforms and future governance models aimed at transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
