VIDEO: Argentine President Javier Milei Loses Cool After Being Smacked By Mic In Face

A video of Argentine President Javier Milei has been making waves on social media, in which he can be seen accusing a journalist of deliberately hitting him in the face with a microphone.

The viral video shows the Argentine President, flanked by media personnel and officials, getting smacked in the face by a microphone while leaving a polling station.

Stunned by the hit, Javier Milei lashed out at a journalist from Argentina’s C5N TV channel and accused him of hitting him on purpose. "Did you hit me on purpose?" the visibly peeved president asked the reporter afterward.

According to reports, the president did not suffer any major injury, as he was hit by the microphone’s sponge-covered portion.

According to the Russian news agency TASS, the Argentine leader has a reputation for having a negative attitude toward journalists. He views journalists as anti-government and accuses them of breaching his privacy. Javier has alleged that journalists deliberately harass him with camera flashes despite knowing that he is photosensitive.

Milei cast his vote in the Buenos Aires legislative elections. A video of a commission member refusing to shake hands with the president at the polling station has also been widely circulating on social media.
