Adarsh Gourav's 'Tu Yaa Main', with director Bejoy Nambiar, to begin filming in June 2025

Actor Adarsh Gourav, who impressed audiences with his performances in The White Tiger and Guns & Gulaabs, is teaming up with director Bejoy Nambiar for the first time in Tu Yaa Main and has announced that filming will commence next month.

Touted as a survival thriller, the film is bankrolled by Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions and has Shanaya Kapoor cast as the female lead. The release has been set for February 14, 2026.

"The shoot for the film starts in June and the work on it has already begun. It's a completely different genre from what I've done before, and that's what drew me to the project. Collaborating with Bejoy Nambiar, who has such a distinct cinematic voice, and sharing the screen with Shanaya Kapoor makes this even more special. I can't wait for audiences to experience what we're creating," said Gourav in a statement.

In March 2025, the makers released an announcement teaser of Tu Yaa Main on the official channel of Colour Yellow Productions.

Bejoy Nambiar is known mostly for his thrillers and has directing credits on films such as Shaitan, Solo, and Wazir, and series like The Fame Game and Kaala.

Gourav was last seen in Reema Kagti's Superboys of Malegaon, currently streaming on Prime Video. Meanwhile, the actor will be seen in Fargo creator Noah Hawley's upcoming series Alien: Earth, which is set in the same universe as the Alien films made by Ridley Scott, James Cameron, David Fincher, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. It's the newest property in the universe after Fede Álvarez's widely successful Alien: Romulus
