Ashok Kumar, a resident of Sector 35, had stated that he was lured into transferring large sums to various bank accounts by the fraudster who promised high returns. After the transactions were complete, he was blocked from all communication platforms, including WhatsApp groups, by the fraudsters.

Those arrested have been identified as Mukesh Kumar Gujar, a resident of Jaipur, Rajasthan; Ramji Lal Meena of Jaipur, Vijay Kumar Yogi, Aditya Kumar Jain, and Tanishq Marmat, alias Honey, who were nabbed from Sawai Madhopur.
