Akshay Kumar To SUE Paresh Rawal For ₹25 Crore, Sends Legal Notice Over Abrupt Exit From Hera Pheri 3

Paresh Rawal shocked fans by announcing his exit from Hera Pheri 3. However, in a surprising turn of events, Akshay Kumar, through his production house, Cape Of Good Films, has sent a legal notice to Rawal, demanding Rs 25 crore for his abrupt departure from the film.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Akshay has sent notice alleging 'grossly unprofessional conduct' and claims that Paresh left Hera Pheri 3 in a lurch after signing a legal contract and beginning the shoot. Reportedly, Paresh showed a 'blatant disregard for professional integrity or commercial morality'.

The source further added, "If he wanted to not do the film, he should have said so before signing the legal contract, accepting the signing amount, and making the producer spend so much money on the shoot."

"It is high time Bollywood actors realise that like Hollywood, producers here too will no longer give in to the whims of an actor walking in and out of a film as he pleases," added the source.

This is the first time Akshay has sued a co-star for unprofessional behaviour.

Akshay and Paresh are yet to react.

Recently, reports were stating that Paresh quit Hera Pheri 3 over creative differences. However, he quashed the reports and took to his X handle and wrote, "I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER."

"I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director (sic)," he added.

A few days ago, Suniel Shetty had shared a major update, revealing that the teaser of Hera Pheri 3 is ready and will be unveiled ahead of the IPL 2025 finale.
