Domicile Certificate Services Moved To Jan Sugam Portal In J&K

JAMMU, May 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has officially shifted the service for the issuance of Domicile Certificates from the ‘Service Plus’ portal to the ‘Jan Sugam’ portal, the Revenue Department said in an order.
According to the directive addressed to all Deputy Commissioners, issuing authorities, including Tehsildars, have been instructed to process all new domicile certificate applications exclusively through the Jan Sugam portal. No new applications shall be accepted via the earlier Service Plus portal.
The order, issued by Afaq Ahmad, Under Secretary to the Government, further requested that wide publicity be given to inform the general public about this portal shift for transparency and accessibility.
This change is aimed at streamlining services and improving delivery efficiency for the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
