'No Amount Of Money...': Paresh Rawal Breaks Silence On Hera Pheri 3 Exit After Reports Of Akshay Kumar Suing Him Go Viral

Bollywood fans were in for a shock on Tuesday morning after reports surfaced that Akshay Kumar was planning to sue Paresh Rawal for Rs 25 crore for backing out of Hera Pheri 3 in the last moment. And now, the veteran actor has finally ended his silence on the entire fiasco, and while at it, also debunked rumours of creative differences with the makers.

Opening up on his decision to quit Hera Pheri 3, Rawal told Midday, "I know it came as a shock to many. We three make a great combination with Priyadarshanji directing us, but the fact is that I opted out because today I don’t feel like a part of it."

He went on to say that his decision is "final for time being", adding, "I always say never say never for anything. One cannot predict what happens in the future."

Rawal also strongly denied reports that said the reason behind him quitting Hera Pheri 3 was related to his remuneration for the film. "No amount of money compares to the love and respect of my audience. Right now, I just felt that it is a role I don’t want to do, that’s all," he averred.

The OMG actor also revealed that Priyadarshan tried to convince him, but failed.

"I love Priyadarshan and have great respect and faith in him as a director. We have done wonderful movies together in the past and will continue to do so. There were no creative differences, nor is there a possibility of having any with him," he added.

Rawal, however, refrained from commenting on reports of Akshay planning to sue him for Rs 25 crore.

Meanwhile, Rawal will be next seen in Bhooth Bangla, which also stars Akshay Kumar and has been helmed by Priyadarshan. The team recently wrapped up the shoot of the film.
