Meritorious students honoured in Karnal
The management of Anand Public School, Nigdhu in the district, on Tuesday honoured meritorious students, including district topper Jeena Chauhan, during a felicitation programme held on the school premises.
Jeena also secured third position in the Class X board exams conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani, scoring an outstanding 495 out of 500 marks.
The Principal of the school, Dilbag Singh, said all meritorious students who performed well in the board examinations were honoured. “We are happy that our students have delivered outstanding performances in the board exams. Our student Jeena is not only the district topper but also secured third rank in the state. We are proud of these students,” said the Principal.
Subhash Chand Doda, president of Anand Educational Society, credited the dedication of both teachers and students for the excellent results.
Jeena expressed her joy and said the achievement was possible due to the blessings of her teachers, parents, and the support of the entire family. Her father, Sukhbir Singh, is a dairy farmer, and her mother, Priyanka, is a homemaker. “My parents have been my biggest strength. They always stood by me and their support helped me stay focused,” she said.
