Asst town planner among 4 booked for creating fake property ID
The police have registered a case against four persons, including a Building Inspector and an Assistant Town Planner of the Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ), for allegedly creating a property ID fraudulently.
On the complaint of Yogesh Sharma, a resident of Faridabad, a case was registered against Building Inspector Rampal Mann, Assistant Town Planner Ashish Chhachhiya, Vishal Bakshi and his brother Vikram Bakshi, both residents of Yamunanagar, under Sections 318 (4), 336 (3), 338, 340 and 61 of the BNS at the City police station.
The complainant said he owned a house in Tagore Garden of Yamunanagar and obtained a stay from a court on the property on March 7, 2024.
He alleged that despite the stay from the court, Vikram and Vishal applied for a new ID for the property in the office of the MCYJ through online mode at 8.53 pm on October 28, 2024. Building Inspector Rampal Maan recommended for a new property ID at 9.46 pm through online mode, in less than an hour.
After getting a recommendation from Maan, Assistant Town Planner Ashish Chhachhiya approved the new ID on November 11, 2024.
The complainant alleged that Vikram and Vishal, in connivance with the Building Inspector and Assistant Town Planner, fraudulently got made a new ID of his property.
He alleged that later, Vikram and Vishal sold the property to Shashi and Shubham Sethi of Yamunanagar using the said new property ID.
