Pupils keen on joining forces post Op Sindoor

Operation Sindoor has left a positive impact on the students, who now wish to join the Armed Forces.

During the “School Mentorship Programme” at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Miller Ganj, which was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain, most of the students expressed their desire to safeguard the nation.

When DC Jain categorically asked the students “aren’t you scared”, the common reply was “we want to serve our country”. Among the tiny tots, several wanted to be doctors, engineers and bankers. When asked if they liked coming to the school daily, a majority of the students nodded.

One of the teachers said they received information about the DC’s visit around 9:15 pm yesterday. “Had they told us before, we would have briefed our students in a better manner,” said the teacher.
