Jugal, Randhawa visit Chatha, assure development of local pond

JAMMU, May 20: Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Jammu-Reasi constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with Vikram Randhawa, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Bahu constituency, conducted an extensive visit to village Chatha in block Satwari of Bahu Assembly segment.
During the visit, the leaders interacted with the residents and listened to their grievances and developmental concerns. A major issue raised by the local populace was the development of the village pond (Talab), which holds cultural as well as ecological significance for the area.
Responding promptly, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma issued necessary directions to the SDM South, Manu Hansa, BDO Satwari Sandeep Gupta, and other concerned officials present during the visit. He emphasized the urgent need to focus not only on the rejuvenation and beautification of the pond but also on holistic development of the entire village.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vikram Randhawa reiterated his commitment to addressing grassroots-level issues and assured that the matter would be taken up at all relevant forums to ensure timely action.
Also present during the visit were BJP district president, Naresh Singh, Surjeet Singh, Kulveer Charak, Arun Manmotra, Parkash Singh, Sanjeev, Tarun Sharma, Amit Gupta, Farmaan, Anwar Ali, Raman, Gulshan, Ajay, Sanjeev, Arun, Tej Ram, Sunny and other prominent locals were present and extended their support for local development initiatives and pledged cooperation in mobilizing resources.
The visit underscored the leaders’ resolve to bring about tangible improvements in rural infrastructure and ensure that Government schemes effectively reach the last mile.
