Gold smuggling case: Actor Ranya Rao gets bail, but to stays in jail under Cofeposa

Kannada actress Ranya Rao, daughter of IPS officer Ramachandra Rao, secured bail from a special court in Bengaluru regarding gold smuggling charges levied by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence. However, she remains incarcerated due to the invocation of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act. Her associate, Tarun Raju, also received bail.
