RPHQ Jammu donates water cooler to GMS Chullana

JAMMU, May 21: As part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024–25, the Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Jammu donated a water cooler and purifier to Government Middle School Chullana (Nagrota), district Jammu. The initiative was carried out under the guidance of DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, and overall supervision of Sanjay Sharma, SSP and SO to DIG JSK Range.
The event began with the welcome of DySP Crime RPHQ Jammu, Arvind Sambyal, along with Anil Kumar (Ex-Sarpanch), Prithvi Raj (Ex-Captain) and other local dignitaries. Headmaster Rounak Singh, school staff and residents from adjoining areas expressed gratitude for fulfilling a basic yet essential need.
Addressing the gathering, DySP Arvind Sambyal encouraged students to stay away from drugs, focus on studies, and participate in sports. He urged the public to support police efforts in curbing societal issues.
Team CAP members SI Suresh Chander, ASI Tarsem Lal, ASI Jasbir Singh, SgCt Sudesh Sharma and SgCt Ishant Raina ensured smooth conduct of the event.
