Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bikaner, Rajasthan, today for the first time following the strategic "Operation Sindoor" conducted in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The visit is marked by a high-profile public address in Palana and the inauguration and foundation-laying of development projects worth over ₹26,000 crore. PM Modi’s itinerary includes the inauguration of more than 100 Amrit Bharat stations, as part of a major push for railway infrastructure. Among these is the redeveloped Deshnok railway station, where the PM is scheduled to arrive around 11 AM after offering prayers at the revered Karni Mata Temple. He will also flag off the new Bikaner-Mumbai Express train. The Prime Minister’s presence near the sensitive Pakistan border is being seen as a strong message following recent security operations. His visit underscores India's focus on strengthening border infrastructure and boosting development in strategic regions. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is personally overseeing preparations, reflecting the importance of this event. PM Modi is also expected to interact with military personnel at Nal Air Force Station. This visit not only highlights developmental priorities but also reinforces India's national security narrative amid rising regional tensions.
