Mumbai Indians' star batter Suryakumar Yadav was spotted doing bhangra amid the IPL 2025 match against the Delhi Capitals on Wednesday at the Wankhede Stadium to entertain the crowd. A video of the same surfaced on social media as the veteran cricketer did a move and let out a laugh following that.
Suryakumar had played a vital knock of 73 off 43 deliveries, laced with four deliveries and as many sixes as the Mumbai Indians amassed a total of 180 in their stipulated 20 overs. The score proved to be more than enough for the Capitals crumbled to 121 all out in 18.2 overs after Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell Santner finished with three scalps each.

After winning the Player of the Match award, the 34-year-old said in a post-match presentation that he is glad to finally win the Player of the Match award after his wife subtly teased him. He elaborated:
"It has been thirteen games now, my wife told me a sweet story. She said I have gotten all the awards but not the POTM award. This award is really special today. From the team's point of view, the knock was important today. And this trophy is for her. She waits for such moments and we celebrate it when we go back, so really looking forward to it."
