Bhopal: District Administration Allots Responsibilities Ahead Of PM Modi's Visit

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): District administration on Thursday issued detailed directives and allotted responsibilities to various departments for  women’s conference which the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is Scheduled to attend on May 31 at Jamboree Maidan.

To ensure smooth execution, responsibilities have been allocated to 24 departments, including Police, health, forest, smart city and Bhopal Municipal Corporation. 

The police have been entrusted with law and order management, bullet proof vehicle arrangements, traffic and parking control, and multi-layered security in collaboration with central and state agencies.

Also, security measures include deployment of male and female personnel, baggage and personal screening systems, CCTV surveillance, emergency protocols, fire safety systems, and installation of metal detectors and X-ray scanners. Coordination with fire, emergency, telecom, and power departments has also been mandated.

The Bhopal Municipal Corporation has been tasked with levelling of roads, ensuring pure drinking water, and setting up mobile toilets at the venue.  

Similarly, the Smart City department will handle cleanliness at helipad sites and along all routes, helicopter cleaning, and fire safety, including deployment of fire brigade vehicles. Apart from this, departments such as health, forest, food, electricity, and emergency services will also coordinate efforts to ensure the event is executed without disruptions.
