Rajasthan man arrested for smuggling liquor

The police have arrested Rahul of Rajasthan in connection with a case of liquor smuggling.

CIA-2 staff in-charge Sub Inspector Satish Kumar said 900 boxes of liquor containing 6,240 bottles and 18,240 quarters were seized from a truck parked at a local dhaba on February 22.

“The liquor boxes were hidden under cattle fodder. The truck driver was arrested and a case registered. Now, Rahul has been arrested in connection with the case,” he said.
