In IPL 2025, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi emerged as one of the tournament's most talked-about talents. The young batter from Bihar, representing Rajasthan Royals, stunned everyone with a 35-ball century - an extraordinary feat for someone so young.
Now, with Rajasthan Royals' campaign over, Vaibhav returned to his hometown of Samastipur, Bihar, where he received a hero's welcome. The video of his homecoming celebration is going viral on social media.
Homecoming like a STAR!
Rajasthan Royals had a disappointing season, finishing with just 4 wins from 14 matches and missing out on a playoff spot.
Their final game was against Chennai Super Kings on May 20. Following their exit, Vaibhav made his way back home after nearly two months.
In Samastipur, the young cricketer was greeted with garlands, cheers, and celebrations from his family and locals. A cake-cutting ceremony was held to honour his performance. The Rajasthan Royals shared a video of the celebration on their official social media accounts, capturing the joy and pride of the moment.
