Honda clocks 500m global two-wheelers, bets big on India with Rs 920 cr expansion

Honda has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 500 million units in global motorcycle and scooter production since 1949, with the Activa scooter being the 500 millionth unit. To meet growing demand, Honda is expanding its production capacity in India, including a new line at its Vithalapur plant, aiming to reach 7 million units annually by 2027.
