CBSE Important Notice: CBSE has issued new language guidelines for schools under NCF 2023. All schools will have to take necessary steps by the end of May 2025, which includes forming a language committee and teacher training. This change will promote multilingual education. Its effect will be visible in the classroom from July. Schools will have to prepare on time.
CBSE Important Notice: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a new action plan for language teaching under NCF 2023 (National Curriculum Framework). According to this plan, all CBSE affiliated schools have to complete the necessary preparations by the end of May 2025. Schools will have to do this work (CBSE Important Notice)
Form NCF Implementation Committee- By the end of May 2025, schools will have to form a committee which will assess the linguistic needs of the students and prepare language teaching material.
Teacher Training- It is mandatory to train all teachers for multilingual teaching and assessment before July 2025.
Change in Syllabus- Instructions have been given to implement R1 as mother tongue and R2 as second language.
Monthly Reporting- From July 5, 2025, schools will have to report their progress to CBSE.
Inclusive Education- As per the RPWD Act 2016, students with special needs will be given additional assistance and facilities.

CBSE wants to ensure that all schools adopt multilingual and inclusive education. For this, academic supervisors can also inspect schools. This new scheme will give students a chance to learn better in their own language and teachers an opportunity to adopt new methods.
