New Delhi — Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched two new premium motorcycles in India — the CB750 Hornet and the CB1000 Hornet SP. Bookings are now open, with deliveries set to begin from June 2025.

The CB750 Hornet is priced at Rs 8.59 lakh, while the CB1000 Hornet SP is priced at Rs 12.35 lakh (ex-showroom Gurugram). The CB750 Hornet will be available at all BigWing and BigWing Topline dealerships, while the CB1000 Hornet SP will be sold exclusively through BigWing Topline outlets.

Aimed at young performance enthusiasts, both motorcycles showcase a bold streetfighter design under the ‘Aggressive X Pure’ styling concept. Highlights include muscular tank shrouds, sharp bodywork, and an all-LED lighting setup. The CB750 Hornet is available in Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic, while the CB1000 Hornet SP comes in a single Matte Ballistic Black Metallic colour with gold accents.

Powering the CB750 Hornet is a 755cc parallel-twin engine delivering 67.5 kW and 75 Nm, while the CB1000 Hornet SP features a 999cc inline-four engine producing 115.6 kW and 107 Nm. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. The CB1000 Hornet SP also comes equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter.

Both bikes feature advanced rider aids including selectable riding modes, dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control, and emergency stop signal. The CB750 Hornet offers four riding modes, while the CB1000 Hornet SP adds two user-customizable modes.

Suspension duties are handled by SHOWA inverted forks on both bikes, with the CB1000 Hornet SP getting an Öhlins TTX36 rear shock. Braking is managed by dual front discs and a rear disc, with Brembo calipers featured on the flagship model.

A 5.0-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity via Honda RoadSync enables navigation, call alerts, and music control. Bookings can also be made online through the Honda BigWing website.

With aggressive styling, tech-forward features, and powerful engines, the new Hornets aim to make a strong mark in India’s growing premium motorcycle segment.
