SBI donates Rs 4,97,000 to Sanrakshika Recreation Centre

JAMMU, May 23: Under CSR activity, the State Bank of India (SBI), today donated Rs 4,97,000/- to setup Sanrakshika Recreation Centre for the family members of CISF unit ASG Chandigarh personnel near the airport.
The funds are dedicated to the unit’s health and fitness requirements.
The inauguration of Recreation Centre was done by Manoranjan Panda, General Manager Network-1, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle with G Bhuvanesh Kumar, Senior Commandant CISF Unit ASG Chandigarh.
In his address, Manoranjan Panda emphasized the importance of corporate participation in community welfare.
He said, “At SBI, we believe in fostering community development and supporting initiatives that contribute to the well-being of CISF unit and their families.”
During the event, other senior officials of the Bank Major General Arvind Kapoor, Advisor, Ani Kamdi, Regional Manager, RBO-1, Mohali and Pankaj Joshi, Branch Manager, SBI Kandala Branch were also present.
