UPSC Exam 2025: Delhi Metro has advanced the start time of metro services on select lines keeping in mind the UPSC preliminary examination to be held on May 25. This change has been made for the convenience of the candidates who will appear in the examination so that they can reach the examination center on time.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has changed the timing of the metro due to the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination to be held on Sunday, 25 May 2025. This decision has been taken especially for the convenience of those students who are going to appear in this big exam. Usually some metro lines run from 7 am on Sunday, but this time DMRC has decided to start services on Pink Line, Magenta Line and Gray Line from 6 am. This will make it easier for the students to reach the examination center on time and they will not have to face any kind of problem.

All other metro lines will run at their earlier time. This initiative of DMRC will give a lot of relief to the students and they will be able to reach their destination without delay. This change is only for May 25.

What will be the change in metro services on May 25?

On May 25, trains will start operating early in the morning from the terminal stations of three lines of Delhi Metro’s largest metro network – Line 7 (Pink Line), Line 8 (Magenta Line) and Line 9 (Grey Line).

Line 7 (Pink Line): From Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar

Line 8 (Magenta Line): From Krishna Park Extension to Botanical Garden
