Wipro CEO Srinivas Pallia Earns $6.2 Million In FY25 Amid Profit Surge
Wipro CEO and Managing Director Srinivas Pallia earned $6.2 million (approximately Rs 53.64 crore) in the financial year ending March 31, 2025, which is a 10 per cent increase from the previous year, as the IT services firm reported an 18.9 per cent rise in annual net profit to Rs 13,135.4 crore.
Pallia, who assumed the CEO role on April 7, 2024, received $1.7 million in salary and allowances, another $1.7 million as commission and variable pay, $2.8 million under 'other' components, and $68,850 in long-term compensation, according to Wipro’s latest 20-F filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. He was also granted 16.77 lakh stock options with staggered vesting periods.
Despite the raise, Pallia’s compensation for the financial year 2025 remained significantly lower than the $20 million (about Rs 168 crore) earned by his predecessor Thierry Delaporte in FY24, then one of the highest executive pay packages in India’s vast IT sector.

Wipro Executive Chairman Rishad Premji’s Compensation
Meanwhile, Wipro Executive Chairman Rishad Premji’s compensation more than doubled to $1.6 million (around Rs 13.7 crore) in FY25. In FY24, Premji had taken a voluntary 20 per cent pay cut and declined commission, receiving $769,456 (Rs 6.4 crore), in response to subdued company performance.
As per Wipro’s 20-F filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Rishad Premji’s remuneration is set to double to approximately Rs 13.7 crore in FY2024–25, up from around Rs 6.4 crore in FY2023–24.
The FY25 pay increases come amid a recovery in Wipro's financial performance. Both Pallia and Premji are eligible for a 0.35 per cent commission on the incremental net profit over the previous year. Unlike Pallia, however, Premji was not awarded any stock options for the fiscal year. Additionally, Pallia was granted 1,677,202 share options with staggered lock-in periods, while Premji did not receive any stock options during the financial year 2024–25.
