Bhagwan Parshuram Janmotsav event will be dedicated to soldiers, martyrs: Tourism Minister
Haryana Tourism and Jail Minister Arvind Sharma has said the Gaur Brahmin Vidya Pracharini Sanstha would hold a state-level Bhagwan Parshuram Janmotsav programme in Paharwar, Rohtak, on May 30.
The programme would be dedicated to soldiers and martyrs, he added.
The minister was addressing the gathering as the chief guest at a programme organised by Yamunanagar District Brahmin Sabha at Sanatan Dharma Mandir in Sector 18 of Jagadhri.
Mayor Suman Bahamani and District Grievance Redressal Committee member Rakesh Tyagi welcomed the minister.
Sharma said Gaur Brahmin Vidya Pracharini Sanstha was a very old institution.
The institution was established in 1904, and had been continuously working for the interests of the Brahmin community, and society, he added.
He said the event would be held on 15 acres, and all facilities would be available during the programme.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini would be the chief guest at the programme, which would be presided over by BJP state president Mohan Lal Badauli, he added.
