Breaking News: Owaisi Slams Pakistan, Calls for Global Action Against Terrorism
In a powerful statement, Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), strongly condemned Pakistan’s role in promoting terrorism and used religion to justify the killing of innocent people in India. Owaisi criticized terrorist organizations that quote religious texts out of context to justify their violence, drawing attention to the clear message in the Quran that the killing of one innocent person is akin to killing all of humanity. He highlighted the need to take urgent action against such ideologies, which, according to him, pose a threat to humanity as a whole.Owaisi also directly warned Pakistan, saying that India has the means to defend its people and territory, and that the country's patience should not be tested. He emphasized that India will protect its citizens and respond firmly if provoked further. He also called for Pakistan to be placed back on the FATF gray list, as a means to curb its support for terrorist activities. Owaisi's remarks came in the context of rising tensions between India and Pakistan, especially after recent cross-border attacks.Furthermore, Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, accused Pakistan of sending terrorists across the border for years. He also referenced the ongoing challenges posed by a small group of individuals within India who continue to collaborate with external terrorist elements.Owaisi also thanked Bahrain for its support in exposing Pakistan’s actions and urged other countries, including Turkey and Azerbaijan, to reconsider their stance on Pakistan, given its ongoing support for terrorism. He stressed that religion is not a guarantee of security and pointed out the instability in regions like Jordan, Iraq, and Iran, underlining the need for global cooperation against terrorism.
