VoIP scam busted in Ahmedabad, gang uses fake TRAI threats to cheat thousands

A VoIP calling scam, impersonating TRAI officials to threaten citizens with SIM card blocking, was busted in Ahmedabad. Two members, Lovekesh Kumar and Anubhav Gupta, were arrested for routing international calls through servers, using the city's prefix to appear local. The operation, linked to international criminal gangs, aimed to expand across India.
