Special milk consumed by Mukesh Ambani and family: We all know that Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries is the richest person of India and his family members Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani and his wife Radhika Merchant enjoy a very luxurious lifestyle. You must have heard about many lifestyle habits of the Ambani family but do you know that unlike the common folk, the Ambani family does not consumes milk from a common dairy but special cows which drinks RO water and rest on specially-imported rubber-coated mattresses.

Reports have it that the Ambani family including the famous members like Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani and his wife Radhika Merchant consumes milk from a specially-reared Dutch cow breed, the Holstein-Friesian cows from Netherlands.

Ambani family drinks milk of Holstein-Friesian cows

According to a report carried by the Times of India (TOI), the Ambani family consumes the milk from Holstein-Friesian cows who are reared at the Bhagyalakshmi Dairy. The Bhagyalakshmi Dairy is a 35-acre dairy farm in Pune where over 3,000 cows are reared and milked. As per the report, the high breed Holstein-Friesian cows are given RO water to drink. Moreover, in order to boost their productivity, the cows are allowed to rest on specially-imported rubber-coated mattresses.

About Holstein-Friesian cows

The Holstein-Friesian cow is high-yield cow breed from the Netherlands, gives around 25 liters of milk per day and can yield up to 9,500 liters of milk in a year. The Holstein-Friesian cows are regarded as the world’s highest milk yielding cow. The report says that a healthy Holstein-Friesian calf weighs about 50 kg at birth, while an adult cow can weigh up to 750 kg.

As per media reports, the milk that reaches to the Ambani travels a distance of 163 kms daily and reaches Antilia in Mumbai in 3.5 hours in a frozen delivery van.
