Extra Pension Benefits For NPS Retirees, Spouses Also Eligible Under New UPS Scheme

New Delhi: The Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) is a new benefit plan launched by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). It is for central government employees who retired under the National Pension System (NPS). The benefits also apply to their legally wedded spouses.

You will get a one-time payment. It is equal to one-tenth of your last basic pay plus dearness allowance (DA) for every six months of service.
