Victim's Body Split Into Two Due To Impact

According to officials from the local police station, the deceased, identified as Harshada Tandolkar, was reportedly mentally disturbed. Around 10 pm, she jumped from the building and landed on a parked motorcycle, resulting in a gruesome impact that caused her body to split into two.

While no suicide note has been recovered, police are in the process of speaking to her family and close contacts to determine what may have led to the tragic incident.

Elderly Woman In Dahisar Jumps To Death

In a separate incident earlier this month, a 72-year-old woman, Merlin Menon, allegedly died by suicide on May 13 in the Dahisar area. She had been living alone in the New Heritage building following her husband’s death six months ago. Suffering from a prolonged illness and emotional distress, Merlin reportedly jumped from the seventh floor of her building in the afternoon.

Suicide Note Found

According to the MHB police, a suicide note was recovered from her residence in which she cited her illness and mental state as the reasons for ending her life. Her body was found by the building’s watchman, who immediately informed the authorities. An accidental death report was also filed in this case.
