On Camera: Mischievous Boy Pries Open Moving Lift Door, Gets Trapped Inside Before Being Rescued In Ghaziabad Society
A young boy caused trouble for himself when he pried open a moving lift with his bare hands, causing it to halt midway and trapping him inside a high-rise residential society in Ghaziabad’s Kaushambi on Monday.
The mischievous act of the minor was caught on CCTV, which shows the child forcefully trying to open the doors of the moving lift while pressing the buttons. This caused the lift to stop between floors.
After finding himself stuck between two floors, the child panicked and repeatedly pressed the buttons, but to no avail. When his initial efforts failed, the boy began crying and shouting for help.
A technician was soon called to rescue him, and the boy was safely freed after being trapped for several minutes.
The CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media, drawing mixed reactions from users. Some users pointed out faults in the lift, wondering how a small child could pull open the door of a moving lift, while others criticised the boy's mischievous behaviour, saying he should not be allowed to use the lift alone.
