India will act decisively against terrorism: All-party panels
All-party delegations today continued with the outreach post ‘Operation Sindoor’ and made it clear that India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail and strike precisely and decisively at the terrorist hideouts developing under the cover of nuclear blackmail.
In France, the delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad met Members of Parliament in the French National Assembly (Lower House) led by Thierry Tesson, President of the India-France Friendship group. Parliamentarians voiced united support for India’s fight against terrorism, the Indian Embassy in France said.
In Singapore, Sanjay Kumar Jha’s panel met Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs of Singapore. The delegation conveyed that Operation Sindoor has carved out a new benchmark in India’s fight against terrorism. If there is a terrorist attack on India, India will give a fitting reply.
The Baijayant Panda delegation in Kuwait undertook a series of media engagements and cultural visits aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and highlighting India’s united stance against terrorism. The delegation visited the special exhibition ‘Rihla-e-Dosti: 250 Years of India-Kuwait Friendship’ at the National Library of Kuwait, which featured a rich display of rare manuscripts, ancient books, historical coins, and cultural artefacts.
Another delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi arrived in Slovenia met Predrag Bakovic, Chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee of National Assembly (lower house of the Slovenian Parliament) and Miroslav Gregoric, representing the India-Slovenia Parliamentary Friendship Group.
The delegation also met the State secretary and National Coordinator for National and International Security, ‘Office of the Prime Minister Vojko Volk.
In Congo a delegation led by Shrikant Eknath Shinde, met the Deputy Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo; Minister of Transport Therese Kayikwamba Wagner; State Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophonie Vital Kamerhe Lava Kanyiginyi Nkingi; Speaker of the National Assembly and Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge
Congo conveyed support for India’s fight against terrorism and assured that her country stands ready to echo India’s message against terrorism at all international fora.
Another parliamentary delegation today reached Panama It is led by Shashi Tharoor. Another delegation led by Supriya Sule arrived iun South Africa today. The delegation will travel to Pretoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg to hold interactions with South African leadership.
