Jal Vayu Vihar residents irked by frequent power cuts

Residents of Jal Vayu Vihar, Sector 67, today convened a meeting in the community hall to deliberate on the frequent power outages plaguing the area.

Residents rued the ongoing employee strikes and faults in the electrical infrastructure, citing them as the major reasons behind the erratic power supply. They highlighted the need to withdraw electricity freebies and redirect the funds toward upgrading infrastructure.

The residents resolved to establish a forum to engage with higher authorities at Punjab State Power Corporation Limited to ensure prompt action and effective solutions. —TNS
