Cash-strapped Maharashtra government OKs Rs 3,000 crore for temples, memorials

The Maharashtra government has approved plans worth Rs 2,954 crore for the preservation and renovation of memorials and temples across the state. This includes a Rs 681.3 crore development plan for Ahilyadevi Holkar's memorial and Rs 5,503 crore for seven major pilgrimage centers.
