China to resume seafood imports from Japan

After a two-year ban, China has agreed to resume importing seafood from Japan, following discussions in Beijing. The agreement involves China's participation in IAEA water sampling missions. Japan will register fishery processing facilities and ensure seafood undergoes inspection and certification for radioactive substances like caesium-137, paving the way for exports to resume.
