About Kerala Summer Holiday 2025
From March 28 to June 2, 2025, Kerala schools were closed for summer vacation. This gave children a full two months off. This timing fits with the end of final exams, which included the SSLC exams that ended on March 28.
The state administration made it very clear that no academic activities were allowed during this time. They said that no classes should be held in government, aided, unaided, or vocational higher secondary schools throughout May. The goal of this order was to make sure that students and teachers could fully use their time off to relax and recharge.
