Railway Cancels 10 Rewa-Cherlapalli Special Train Trips Due To Track Work
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The railway administration has decided to cancel a total of 10 special train trips (five up and five down) running between Rewa and Cherlapalli (Secunderabad) and back.
This decision was made because of infrastructure development work in the Secunderabad division of the South Central Railway.
At Bellampalli railway station, the yard is being expanded, and work is underway to commission a third rail line connectivity. Due to these technical and structural works, train movement on this route will be affected.
As a result, the special train operated by West Central Railway between Rewa and Cherlapalli (Secunderabad) has been cancelled for five trips.
This train usually carries over 1,000 passengers per trip from many stations in Madhya Pradesh.
Cancelled Trains:
Train number 01704, which runs twice a week from Rewa to Cherlapalli (Secunderabad), will not operate from June 5 to June 19, 2025. Five trips from Rewa will be cancelled during this period.
Train number 01703, which runs twice a week from Cherlapalli (Secunderabad) to Rewa, will not operate from June 6 to June 20, 2025. Five trips from Cherlapalli will be cancelled during this period.
