'Ee Sala Cup Namde'! Rapper Drake Bets ₹6.25 Crore On RCB To Win IPL 2025 Trophy
Royal Challengers Bangalore gear up for their long-awaited shot at IPL glory and the Grammy-winning artist Drake has thrown his weight behind RCB, not just in spirit but with a massive bet that’s caught international attention.
In a surprising Instagram post on Tuesday, Drake revealed that he’s bet a staggering ₹6.25 crore (approx. $750,000) on RCB to win the IPL 2025 final, placing the wager on the popular betting platform, Stake. With odds of 1.75, the payout could earn him over ₹10.94 crore (approx. $1.312 million) if RCB triumphs over Punjab Kings.

IPL gets ready to crown new champion as RCB, PBKS look to end trophy drought
The 18th season of the Indian Premier League will crown new champions on June 3, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
For RCB, it’s a chance to finally lift the trophy after 17 long years. If player No.18, Virat Kohli, helps them win, it would be a perfect ending to a long wait.
On the other side, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer is chasing history. If he wins tonight, he has the chance to write history by becoming the first captain to win IPL titles with two different teams. He previously won with Kolkata Knight Riders last year.
Shreyas has quietly built a strong record as a leader. He is the only player to take three different teams to an IPL final under three different coaches
RCB surprised many by giving the captaincy to Rajat Patidar. Though there were moments where Virat Kohli seemed unsure about Rajat’s choices, the young skipper stayed focused. RCB had a poor run at home, which raised questions, but they bounced back with strong performances away from home thanks to their bowlers and Kohli’s form.
Rajat stood tall under pressure, led with confidence, and managed the team without needing constant input from senior players like Kohli.
Tonight, one of these two teams will make history either RCB will finally win their first title, or Shreyas Iyer will cement his place as one of the league's best captains.
