Wilson Ramos hangs up his glove and heart with Washington Nationals

Two-time All-Star catcher Wilson Ramos, affectionately known as Buffalo, retired on June 15, 2025, after a 12-season MLB career. Signing a one-day contract, he retired as a Washington National, where he spent seven seasons. Ramos, 35, cited family as his priority. His Nationals tenure (2010-2016) included catching three no-hitters and winning a Silver Slugger.
