Savita Bhabhi Actress & Cancer Survivor Rozlyn Khan Says She'll Go By Her Real Name 'Rehana': 'Life Stripped Me Down To...'
Actress and cancer survivor Rozlyn Khan, who courageously fought stage 4 breast cancer that spread to her spine, penned a powerful note about identity, survival, and transformation. In a social media post on Tuesday (June 17), Rozlyn revealed that she is now choosing to go by her birth name, Rehana.
Sharing a photo of her hospital band, the actress wrote, "Every time I wore that hospital band, it reminded me – life had stripped me down to the rawest version of myself. The pain, the chemo, the surgeries... none of it cared about glamour, fame, or stage names. Rozlyn was a name I performed under, but Rehana... Rehana is who lived through the pain."
Known for her unfiltered honesty, the actress said that post-cancer, she no longer wants to "perform survival" and feels returning to her real name is like "going back home."
"I've always been someone who never filtered my truth, so why was I hiding behind a name that wasn't mine? After cancer, I didn't just heal - I awoke. I realised I don't need to perform survival anymore. Going back to Rehana feels like going back home. This second chance at life deserves my real name, my real self," she added.

A few days back, Rozlyn also shared an update about her treatment. She revealed that doctors have removed her chemo port, a device used for administering chemotherapy, marking a new phase in her recovery.
Rozlyn had undergone 19 rounds of chemotherapy but had to discontinue the treatment due to a rare and painful side effect that made it unsafe to proceed. Looking ahead, she will be on long-term medication for the next 10 years as part of her ongoing effort to keep the cancer under control.
"It’s hard to explain the physical and emotional pain of this journey in words. But today marks a silent, powerful victory. The scars remain. So does the courage. The war isn’t over, but I’ve made it through the worst battlefield. From stage 4 to stage fierce - I carry this story in every heartbeat," she wrote on Instagram a few days back.
Rozlyn made her acting debut in 2012 with the film Dhama Choukdi. She also starred in other films like Jee Lene Do Ek Pal and Savita Bhabhi. The actress was last seen in the TV series Crime Alert in 2018.
