Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal continues to surprise citizens! After a 90° bridge and a malfunctioning clock tower, a bizarre poster featuring a woman drinking the dog's milk surfaced. The posters, put up near Rani Kamlapati Station, have left the commuters 'grossed out'.
It read, “If you wouldn’t drink a dog’s milk…Why drink the milk of any other species?”
The poster further says, “ Please Try Vegan!”
What does the poster aim for?
The poster basically aims to promote a vegan diet and lifestyle, which avoids all the food items sourced from an animal, including milk, cheese, ghee and others.
With increasing population, the consumption of such animal-based products has multiplied manifolds. In order to suffice the same, the animals are forced to suffer various forms of abuse like -
Factory farming, which subjects animals to cramped, inhumane conditions where they experience fear, pain, and stress.
Dairy and egg industries also involve practices like forced impregnation, separation of mothers and babies, and premature deaths.
Also, over 80 billion land animals are killed for food each year globally.
By choosing a vegan lifestyle, people reduce demand for these industries, thus sparing animals from systemic cruelty.
