Bhola Sikarwar Murder Case: Prime Accused Booked After Short Encounter In Gwalior
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Gwalior police nabbed the prime accused in the Bhola Sikarwar murder case, Bunty Bhadoria, after a short encounter in the Uttila police station area on Monday.
According to information, Bunty Bhadoria, a wanted criminal with a reward of ₹10,000 on his head, was shot in the leg during a brief exchange of fire with police. Despite being injured, he tried to escape but was caught on the spot.
Police acted quickly and admitted Bunty to the hospital for treatment. Officials confirmed that the arrest was a major step forward in solving the high-profile murder case.
Bhola Sikarwar was shot in his house
On the evening of June 2, there was a stir in the Hajira area of Gwalior when miscreants opened indiscriminate fire on Bhola Sikarwar and his friend Pawan Shrivas sitting outside the house. Bhola sustained to his injuries, while Pawan received serious injury.
Investigation revealed that the reason for the murder was a post made on social media, which deepened the tension between the two factions. Even before the murder of Bhola Sikarwar, Bunty Bhadoria had entered the house of a youth in Gwalior police station area and shot him. He was absconding in many cases including attempt to murder.
Bunty was already pressed with several charges including murder, attempt to murder, extortion, Arms Act violations and gang wars.
Bunty managed to flee earlier
After Bhola's murder, when the police reached Guda Naka to arrest him, he opened fire on the police and managed to escape.
The police have so far named a total of eight accused in the Bhola Sikarwar murder case. Four of them have already been arrested while the search for the remaining absconding accused is still on.
Police teams are continuously raiding the possible hideouts. It is worth noting that Bhola Sikarwar himself was not an ordinary citizen. More than a dozen criminal cases were registered against him. He was also involved in criminal activities like Bunty Bhadoria.
Bunty Bhadoria will be taken on remand and interrogated so that the entire conspiracy of the murder, the conspiracy of the other accused and the supply chain of weapons can be captured and the absconding accused can be arrested.
