This year has seen a significant increase in the number of pilgrims participating in the Char Dham Yatra. The BKTC has insisted that there is no let-up in the number of pilgrims, despite some mishaps, including a chopper crash, after which even the foot yatra had remained suspended for a couple of days.

Apart from the Dhams, pilgrims are also reaching several other temples for darshan.
