Shocker! Schoolgirl Raped, Blackmailed & Forced To Steal Mom's ₹50 Lakh Jewellery In MP's Gwalior
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A 16-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly raped, blackmailed and extorted of Rs 50 lakh worth jewellery in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior on Wednesday.
The accused sexually assaulted her on pretext of marriage, recorded her intimate videos and demanded money, threatening to leak her visuals. Feeling helpless, the girl was forced to steal her mother's gold and silver ornaments.
According to information, he forced the girl to give him gold, silver, and cash worth nearly ₹50 lakh.
The truth was revealed when the girl’s father noticed missing valuables from their locker.
The girl, a Class 10 student, lives in a posh colony under Gola Ka Mandir police station area. Her father is a well-known businessman.
A boy named Shivam Bhadoriya, who is the brother of her friend, used to visit their home frequently.
In August 2024, Shivam proposed to the girl and talked about marrying her. She believed him and started trusting him.
On 3 April 2025, when the girl was alone at home, Shivam came and raped her. Even though she tried to stop him, he convinced her by saying he loved her. During this time, he also secretly recorded obscene photos and videos of her.
Later, he started blackmailing her and said he needed money to repay loans. He threatened to make the videos viral and forced her to bring valuables from home.
On 13 June, the girl gave him a bag that included 49 tola (about 570 grams) of gold jewellery, 400 grams of silver, ₹80,000 in cash, and her father’s arms licence along with 10 bullets.
Shivam took the gold to a bank and took a gold loan of ₹24 lakh using it. The remaining items were kept with him.
The incident came to light when the girl’s father opened the locker to get the arms licence and bullets, but found the bag missing. He panicked and informed the police.
During investigation, the girl broke down and told the truth.
Police have registered a case against the accused under charges of rape, POCSO Act, blackmailing, and other serious sections.
The accused has been arrested, and after completing legal formalities, he is being sent to jail.
