Abandoned by society, pets search for home: NGOs on mission to find them safe & loving shelters

Humane World for Animals and Citizen for Animals organized an adoption event at Lamakaan, featuring dogs and cats rescued from cruelty and abandonment. Breeds like Pomeranians, Rottweilers, and Indies, including Chaithra, who recovered after being thrown from a bridge, were available. Prospective owners underwent screening to ensure the pets' safety and well-being, emphasizing adoption over buying.
