STP defunct, drain with filth empties out into Kasna canal, Hindon

Residents of Greater Noida are raising concerns over untreated sewage being dumped into a drain near Ishan College, polluting the Kasna canal and eventually the Hindon river. Despite a nearby sewage treatment plant, it remains non-functional. Residents, led by Corruption Free India, have appealed to officials, highlighting health risks from foul odours and potential methane emissions.
